Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) offers a consistent standard for Training in these practices throughout the utilities Industry and aligns with the expectations set by the Health and Safety Executive.
The Utility Safety Systems SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines (CCP) course is a one-day training experience developed with input from Industry Employers and Stakeholders. The course content is practical and relevant, creating a safer workforce and helping organisations minimise risks and costs linked to workplace injuries, illnesses or incidents.
The training is recognised as part of the CSCS Alliance.
The SHEA CCP training comprises nine key modules:
The course assessment is a variety of multiple choice questions based on each module.
In both classroom and online training assessments are supervised to ensure fairness and to prevent malpractice such as impersonation or collusion.
There are two options available for SHEA CCP Renewal.
Successful completion of the course will result in EUSR Registration which is valid for 3 years.
The EUSR ID Card includes the CSCS Logo which allows access to CSCS- regulated sites for utilities work.
