SHEA Cross Country Pipelines (CCP)

Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across the utilities sector, in line with Health and Safety Executive guidelines.

Overview of the Scheme

The SHEA Cross-Country Pipelines (CCP) program is a one-day training course, developed in collaboration with employers and key stakeholders across the industry to ensure the content is all relevant – helping to improve the safety of the workforce and reduce costs associated with injury, illness or accidents.

This initiative is part of the CSCS Alliance scheme.

SCO Initial Training Program

The SHEA CCP training comprises nine key modules:

Delivery Methods

Assessment Details

The SHEA assessments consist of multiple-choice questions, designed to evaluate understanding after each module. Participants may choose to complete the assessments one module at a time or all at once.

It’s important to note that all assessments within the CSCS Partner Card Schemes must be supervised. This invigilation ensures the integrity and reliability of results, helping to prevent identity fraud, cheating, or collaboration.

EUSR Registration

Participants who complete the SHEA CCP training will receive EUSR registration, which remains valid for three years.

Renewal Process for EUSR Registration

For those seeking to renew their SHEA CCP EUSR registration, two options are available:

CSCS Partnership

The CSCS Logo allows individuals access to CSCS-regulated operational sites for utilities work. The EUSR ID card includes the CSCS Logo, minimizing the need for multiple cards.
