Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) provides a uniform approach to health, safety and environmental awareness training across the utilities sector, in line with Health and Safety Executive guidelines.
SHEA Water is a one-day program focused on Health, Safety, and Environmental Awareness for personnel working at operational sites. It is part of the CSCS Alliance initiative.
The scheme has been crafted in partnership with employers and key industry stakeholders to ensure the material is pertinent, ultimately aiming to enhance workforce safety and minimize costs related to injuries, illnesses, or accidents.
The SHEA Water program includes the following eight modules:
For initial registration in the SHEA Water EUSR, participants can choose between two delivery methods:

Participants may take assessments one module at a time or all modules simultaneously.
Please note: All CSCS Partner Card Schemes require that assessments be supervised to ensure the integrity of results and prevent identity fraud, cheating, or collusion.
SHEA Water EUSR registration is valid for three years.
To renew SHEA Water EUSR registration, participants have several options:
The CSCS Logo allows individuals access to CSCS-regulated operational sites for utilities work. The EUSR ID card includes the CSCS Logo, minimizing the need for multiple cards.
